It's autumn outdoors! Why not bring autumn indoors? Let's make a DIY fall bouquet for your home!
All supplies (except the hot glue gun) was bought at Dollar Tree!
The faux leaves come in a bag of 50. I made 3 separate bouquets for one vase using only 1 bag of faux leaves. I only glued leaves about 5 inches down or so on the stick. If your vase is shallow, just trim the straw or skewers until only the leaves show. If the sticks aren't tall enough, stuff some scrap paper or filler in bottom of the vase to hold up the straws/skewers.

Step 1Gather your supplies. I have skewers in this photo, but you can also use plastic drinking straws. I spray painted my skewers bronze, but this isn't necessary since the leaves will be covering the skewers up.

Step 2First, put a small dab of hot glue on the tip of the skewer or straw.

Step 3Put your leaf on facing outward on the glue dot.

Step 4Turn the skewer over so that you can see the back of the current leaf and put another dot of hot glue.

Step 5Stick on another leaf.

Step 6Repeat. You can use this formation for gluing on the leaves to make it look fuller. Terrible illustration, I know. It's hard to photograph the real thing. I only glued the leaves about 5 inches down on the straw/skewer.

Step 7Here is a photo of the placement of the leaves. They are placed in clusters of 3-4.

Step 8I also made some using drinking straws and put them into my other vase in the kitchen for display.

Step 9I made copper wire "fillers" to add some quirkiness. I just put the wires in the straws in the middle! Easy!
