You Will Need

Step 1Gather your materials.

Step 2Fold one yard of antique lace as shown, with edges meeting in the middle.

Step 3Fold this entire piece in half, making sure there are no visible loose threads.

Step 4Pinch the middle and behold the bow taking shape!

Step 5Cut a 4" piece of duct tape to be used in the bow's center. Our's is super-shiny! Fold as shown.

Step 6Cut an additional 1" piece of duct tape.

Tip: Ribbon can be used as well, though duct tape is fun and also very sturdy. Check our shop for DIY ribbons to use!

Step 8Pinching the bow shape in one hand, wrap 4" piece of duct tape around center.

Step 9Secure closed with 1" piece of duct tape.

Step 10Now cut a 4" strip of duct tape, and cut that in half to create two strips.

Step 11Use these strips to attach the bow to the headband.

Step 12Wrap it tightly so it doesn't fly off when you're dancing! ;)

Step 13Voila! Now you're ready to go.
