denim refashion
1 found a new denim knee skirt in a thrift store, that just need a button..

sorry I don't have the before photo..

I don't know how much I spend in this project, because I do a lot of things in between..

    Well the skirt need a button and I don't have nothing like the other buttons, so I remember that my mother give to me 2 star buttons, one red and the other is navy blue or darker..
    And well you see how nice it look with the red..

    Then I found that I really don't like the long of the skirt, so I only cut out almost half of the skirt, and leave it seamless..

    Probably, I don't know yet, I'm going to put some lace like the apron, but I don't know yet.. It could be too girly for me..

    With the half of the fabric, cut the size of sandals.. and the double the strips..
    I use some silicon (not the hot one) to paste the fabric to the sandals..

    I have a denim bag, and have a white leather strips, that looks too old..
    I cut it out and with the hem of the skirt made a new strips for the bag..

    And finally I made this apron with the other half of the denim fabric.
    Sew some nice lace that my Mother have and shes never going to use..
    Two squares of purple fabric that I found in the thrift store..
    And the white belt, from the thrift store..

Thank you! I'm trying to renew my wardrobe, and you know how expensive the new clothes are.. I'm preparing some other how to's, with more photos, hope you enjoy them too..
