DIY The Look

This week Katie from The Stylinguist recreates the look of British TV & Radio presenter Fearne Cotton:

Fearne Cotton has been recognised as a fashionista since the early days of her career. She has immaculate style and is well known for taking risks with fashion and having fun with new trends. I love Fearne's ability to mix rock chick with girly vibes, whether it's a feminine tailored jacket with ripped jeans or a pretty pastel dress with a studded collar. She just always seems to get it right!

This week Erica from Being Erica recreates the look of Glee star Rachel Berry:

Having been a massive child-fan of the musical-movie, it is probably no secret - nor am I ashamed to admit, that I am a Gleek. the way they break out in to song in the hallways, relate every minute drama into a hit song, and of course - the costume changes, what's not to love really? The best thing - besides the amazing tunes, has got to be the character costumes, and there isn't someone's style that I've loved to watch change more than Miss Rachel Berry. From a prim-and-proper goody-two-shoes through high school into a sassy New Yorker in a mere few years, her style has evolved more than it has changed; she's always been a fan of the novelty print and the comfortable shoe, but always with a touch of Broadway Glamour. Her hem-height might be getting shorter as quickly as her heel height is getting taller, but there's something to be said of a girl who can pull off a plaid skirt with knee socks in one scene, to glitter-heeled pumps and vintage LBD in the next.

This week aneniine recreates the look of Johnny Depp as vampire Barnabas in the Tim Burton movie Dark Shadows:

Barnabas Collins has a rather unique style for anyone who lives in 1972, if we forget the fact that he is actually a vampire from 18th century! Shirts with ruffled cuffs, dark and rather old-fashioned cape, white, pale face and a huge medallion with a red, red ruby in it - all the best things fit for a 200 year old man. But still, Johnny Depp looks great in this role - even with all the heavy make-up, and his fans can be proud that he brought back the look of a classic vampire.

This week Saran from Cinnamon Springs recreates the chic feminine style of actress Lucy Liu:

Lucy Liu is a stunning beauty who exudes sophistication and knows how to have fun. She has a great sense of style and knows what works best for her. Paired with a great smile, she is definitely one classic beauty!

This week Eleanor recreates the look of the dashing time-travelling Time Lord Doctor Who:

Although each of the 12 regenerations the of Doctor has come with their own signature look, one thing that remains constant is his sharp fashion sense, from bow-ties to trainers his look is always well put together and timeless - as it sort of has to be for a time traveller.
