How did you get started?
The idea of The Kitchen started in 2002 when Kimbal Musk and Jen Lewin met Hugo Matheson on Pearl Street in Boulder, Colo. They shared a spontaneous dinner which spurred the idea to create a community bistro where friends and family could gather to enjoy good food, drink and conversation. The Kitchen opened its doors in March 2004. Kimbal, Jen and Hugo co-founded The Kitchen to have a deep sense of community through food.
Where are you located?

Several years later, in 2011, The Kitchen Next Door, a community pub, opened its doors right "next door" to the original restaurant. By sourcing local, natural food, The Kitchen community bistro offers fresh and seasonal dishes. The Kitchen steak frites, tomato soup and bolognese continue to be staples on The Kitchen menu.
