Needlepoint of NYC street art
Joe Strummer is nothing short of a hero. The original mural used for this embroidery appears on the side of Niagra in Alphabet City, NYC. Painted shortly after Joe's passing, it commemorates the life of a rock and roll hero (or mine, at least).
This hand-stitched counted tent stitch (petit point) is a one of a kind piece. It measures 4.25"x6" on 20-count embroidery cloth.
