A cute hairpiece made using fake roses.
My friend Caitlin and I were bored, and this is what I came up with! I used small fake roses cut from a bouquet that I had bought on a whim at a yard sale. The fabric on the half that isn't elastic is tule. Hope you like it :)

(Sorry, no pictures for the tutorial yet!)

  • Step 1

First off, I cut a piece of elastic a little less than half the circumference of my head, and a piece of tulle that was the other half of the circumference. Sew them togther at each end so that it fits like you want it to.

  • Step 2

Then, take the fake flowers and sew them on, clustering them so that they stand up and look right. There's no exact science. I really just stabbed with the needle until it looked right.

  • Step 3

And there you have it, pretty simple!
