  • Step 1

    First thing! You need to gather your materials. {The cylindrical container (my other bank) was actually from the earphones I bought from Office Depot (I don't remember) and it already had a slit on the top so that was pretty neat.}

    Then you take your container and make sure that the surface is clean. This container had ribbbons before from Target so I'm going to recycle it to make my little bank. Cut a slit on the top of the container big enough put your change into.

    Now get your stickers or whatever pictures you want to put on the container. If it's a sticker just stick it on. :) If not, you'll have to put some mod podge on the back and glue it on.

    Step 4

    Once you stick your randomness on the surface of the container,generously apply a layer of modge poge on the picture. The reason for this is that that the picture doesn't peel off easily. (You can put a layer on the whole container if you're confident enough of the outcome.) Make sure there are no bubbels.

  • Step 5

    Wait for it to dry 15-20 minutes. When it's done drying you can apply again with the same procedure. You can put as many coats to your liking. 3 coats was good enough for me.

    And, SHAZAM. Done. Now your change has a new home. :) All thanks to you.

cool idea. I have one of those boxes myself...I kept it thinking there must be something I can do with it.
