easy chocolate maltesers and biscuit cake
200g Digestive Biscuits
250g dark chocolate
2 tbsp golden syrup
Crush the digestive and hobnob biscuits (i do this by placing the biscuits in a food bag and bashing this up with a rolling pin - grrrreat when you need to release tension hehe) pour this out into a bowl
Crush half the maltesers the same way and add to the digestives and hobnobs.
Melt the butter,dark chocolate,cream and golden syrup in a pan ( only takes a few minutes ) once melted stir in the bowl of crushed digestives, maltesers and hobnobs
Take pan off the heat to cool for a couple of minutes, once cooled add the remaining maltesers and mix it up.
line a sandwich tin with clingfilm and press the mixture into the tin and place in the fridge for 1 or 2 hours
Take out the fridge, slice it up and nibble with a nice cuppa or glass of milk yumnomnommm <3
