Lisa from lalafauxbois recreates the look of Carol Pilbasian from Last Man on Earth for #DIYTheLook

Carol Pilbasian is such a style inspiration for me! I love how her looks are full bright colors, novelty prints, and pattern mixing. Her playful looks are full of DIY and one of a kind pieces.

PineconePrincess recreates the look of Melanie Martinez for today's #DIYTheLook

I love Melanie Martinez, her style is so fun and youthful and I really like her personality and the fact that she is not scarred to be who she wants to be and that she doesn't let other people stop her from saying/doing what she does.

Marisa from New Dress A Day recreates the style of Kate Hudson for #DIYTheLook

Kate Hudson has had a place on my mood board for years as she's always wearing things that I need to have in my life. She spans the style pages rocking ethereal to modern and edgy like nobody's business and can really pull off anything. ANYTHING.

Creature of Whim recreates the cabaret punk style of Amanda Palmer for today's #DIYTheLook

Amanda Palmer defines her music as Cabaret Punk, which can also be used to decribe her fashion style. This fashion gives Amanda Palmer a powerful/revolutionary touch to her preformances. She is known for not shaving, appearing nude, and outfits that showing a lot of skin, but not in a sexual taboo sense, but rather a way to show that it is good to be comertable in your skin and to accept it for all its uniqueness and beauty.

Carolynn from moonofsilver creates her dream date night look for this week's #DIYTheLook

I love cute things! If I was going in a date night I'd totally wear these heart print jeans with a fun colorful top! Color draws my eye and so does flair, so I'd top my hair off with a bow and some timeless braids. I'd feel adorable in this assembled outfit, and make my date take me out for chocolate pie for sure. Or in a pinch we could stay in and create our own dessert together!

Charity recreates a Where the Bois Are outfit for #DIYTheLook inspired by Diane Keaton and Janelle Monae.

Where the Bois Are- Diane Keaton and Janelle Monae. The two are strong creative icons who wear what feels right. Smooth pompadours or tousled loose hair cap their sharp attention to classic, couture lines that embrace comfort. High necked blouses with bow ties and cravats, tucked into wide leg slacks or straight legged near-skinny jeans. Jazzy accessories give a soft and boyish end note to an outfit.

Morgan Etoile creates a Lauren Conrad inspired spring to summer outfit in #DIYTheLook

This is a transitional spring to summer look, perfect for a casual weekend brunch, that I could totally see Lauren Conrad wearing. I love that Lauren always looks effortless, yet she has a perfectly put together California-girl style.

Shesammy creates her perfect purple outfit for today's #DIYTheLook

Purple is the rage! Black and purple is even better! This outfit speaks for itself. Especially the kilt skirt in these days of the tv show "Outlander". Right down to the funky shoes and pillbox hat, this outfit screams pastel goth. Of course you have to throw in some funky jewelry to the mix. Each tutorial was chosen to coordinate purple and black and to ensure that the tutorials were comprehensive and easy!

Jayne recreates the look of Hermione Granger from Harry Potter for this week's #DIYTheLook

I was in my early twenties when Harry Potter hit, and it changed my life. Not only were they great stories (I was a librarian, so they changed my job too) but Hermione was a real, down to earth, clever young women who proved that your smarts could get you anywhere and usually save the guys along the way! In my head she was not big on super style (who could be with that hair!), but she'd want to be warm, considered and maybe a little quirky. She'd also not want to get in trouble with Prof. McGonnogall!

Mona from Curls & Cakes recreates the look of Audrey Hepburn for this week's #DIYTheLook

Audrey Hepburn’s look as Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany’s is iconic. It is the epitome of class and elegance. I love Audrey’s style because she kept it simple and graceful. With a little black dress, pearls and diamonds you can achieve her impeccable style. By focusing on those beautiful doe eyes with a flirty eyeliner and finishing it off with a simple up-do her look is recreated. And remember that Audrey’s look was nothing if not for the poise she possessed. “The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul
