Take a crafty tour of the cities and hometowns of our members to discover their favorite shops, restaurants and inspiring hang-outs

Glasgow, Scotland, GB •

Glasgow has so many things going on at any one time. It's a vibrant, friendly, and creative city with some great arts spaces and events and a strong vintage scene. There's always something to stumble upon, from imposing Victorian architecture to tucked away street art.

Vienna, Austria •

Vienna is different" – that’s what you can read on large billboards when you are approaching the city on the highway. And it’s true: Diversity and variety are the most important keywords to describe life in Austria’s capital.

Honolulu, Hawaii •

A’loha from Hawai’i! When traveling to this beautiful island don’t forget to bring your sunscreen, a good book and a project you’ve been meaning to get done (crocheting on the long flight sure makes time fly).

Helsinki, Finland •

The best things here are to me: the sea, the parks, all the different districts with their own characteristics, being able to cycle around in the summer and all the non-commercial "happenings", like Restaurant Day!

Cardiff, Wales •

The best thing about living in Cardiff is that there are so many different areas within the city and they all have their own character. It’s almost like living in more than one place!

Bangkok, Thailand •

Bangkok is a curious blend of modern and traditional, a mixture of tranquility and extravagance. You'll find world-class mega malls filled with luxurious designer products and centuries-old temples that look like they've time-traveled here. The best thing about living here is getting to experience the richness of culture, cuisine, and hospitality. There is also an abundance of activities for one to choose from. Even after staying here for over 30 years, I can still find something new and exciting to do.

Toronto, Canada •

The best thing about living in Toronto is the multicultural atmosphere all around. At any given time, you can hear several different languages spoken, find restaurants from around the globe and shop for eclectic items with ethnic flare. To top it all off, downtown offers a great mix of bustling city and lakeside retreat at the Toronto islands.

Seoul, South Korea •

The best thing about living in Seoul is that it’s such a big city with so much to do, but each dong or neighborhood feels like its own small town or community. Koreans are so friendly they make you feel at home. It’s also one of the safest cities in the world.

Reykjavík, Iceland •

The best thing about living in Reykjavík is that everything you need is within walking distance, wether you need a craft store, walk by the sea or some great coffee. Also there are cute cats everywhere!
