My friend Jj is really into communication and QR codes so I have made him a cross-stitch patch with a QR code that will (hopefully!) link to his Twitter http://twitter.com/#!/joelbuckland I have yet to iron on the interfacing and make it ready for wearing, but when I hand it over I will let you know if my stitching was neat and accurate enough for it to scan properly!

Update: I ironed on the interfacing and got my bf to machine sew around it to make sure it can't come off, and now it is ready to be sewn onto something as a patch! Apparently it does scan properly so I am very pleased that it actually works after all that work! Phew! See second picture to see the finished patch.
