Step 1you will simply need 2 things a pencil with an eraser and a straight pin. the top of the pin can be any size you want.

Step 2now simply insert the pin into the middle of the eraser. is it comes out a little crooked it's fine because you can easily fix i,t then you are done.

Step 3this is what the dots will look like. there is really no difference and you save money.
