Which literary figure do you wish you had the chance to meet?

Man, yeah, pretty much all the good characters in To Kill a Mockingbird. I used to want to have a little boy named Atticus.
OK, my others are....
Odd Thomas(of Dean Koontz's 'Odd' series) strangely, I feel as though I have met him. That we've grown up together. I love him so dearly.
Lizzy and Darcy from P&P, of course(and maybe Mr. Bennet, he's fantastic)
Samuel or Warren from Patricia Briggs' Mercedes Thompson series. They're both werewolves, but they both sort of break the uber-macho primitive werewolf mold. Sam is a doctor, and loves babies and children, he's immortal, and he's outlived all of his own children. Warren was turned during the Old West days, he's a real gay cowboy. He's having to overcome adversity among his pack, because the tradition with gay wolves is to kill them. He's super nice.

I would LOVE to meet Gandalf. xD He's badass! And to stay at Lord of the Rings, meeting an Ent might make my whole life a bit more... calm... ^^

Plus I'd love to meet some charakters from one of my childs books, esp. Juniper, who is some sort of witch, but totally into nature and harmonic to the point of being annoying, so having a lemonade with her would be veeery interesting.

It'll be Scarlett O'Hara! I love how she turned the curtains into a dress. And I want to ask her if she ever tried to chase after Rhett Butler when she discovered that she loves him but he left her. Like how she pursued Ashley Wilkes when she thought she loved him.

Moll Flanders would be cool and I'm so excited I'm not the only one who picked up on who she was lol!

My list would include,

Aslan- The Chronicles of Narnia (cause he's God and he talks in riddles lol)
Janie Crawford -Their Eyes Were Watching God (she killed the only man she ever loved)
Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which - A Wrinkle in Time (I think their names say it all)
John Thorton -North and South ((Gaskell) Cause he's just so dreamy)
Miss Havisham - Great Expectations (she' so crazy that I think we'd get along really well.)
Peter Pan - (because who doesn't want to be Wendy?)
Schmendrick the Magician- The Last Unicorn (I love this book and not including someone in it would be a shame)
and Peeta from The Hunger Games (he's just the best character ever written until the last book but up until then he was amazing)

Good thread!
My first thought was Oscar Wilde, and I'm gonna stick with him. He's not a character, but certainly a figure.

I adore Jane Austen so I have to second meeting Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice, but I would love to meet Mr. Bingley! He seems so friendly and if a very funny/sweet character. Mr. Tilney is my favorite Jane Austen Character (Northanger Abbey) so I would definitely love to meet him. I like characters with a wicked sense of humor. :3

Other than that I'd like to meet:
Wes from The Truth About Forever
Both Will Graysons from Will Grayson, Will Grayson.
All the characters from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. Except for Don John.

I know I cheated on the literary aspect there, they're two books and a play but those are the people I'd like to meet. I think I'd also like to meet the men (the narrators) in The Virgin Suicides by Jeffrey Eugenides.
