Does anyone else use Goodreads?

I'm Kathakana on this and I really like that I can link it to my blog as well as keep a record of what I've read.

I love goodreads, it helps me find books I haven't read. I read so much it gets to be a pain to find new stuff. So the site is really helpful.

It good for that too. I also enjoy reading others reviews of the books I've read. I read Before I Die last year and, as you can imagine by the title, it didn't have a happy ending. I wept buckets at the end (although it was oddly uplifting too) and it actually made me feel good to read others reviews and see that others were equally affected and bereft at the end.

I just started one today. I'm into it, I kind of lost a couple hours looking up and adding books I've read and want to read to my shelf. I haven't messed around on it enough to know what all else I can do, but y'all can add me if you'd like...I just set it up under the name Heather Davis...my name.

I had a look for both of you but there were quite a few people with both user names. What I did find though is that you can apparently follow this link http://www.goodreads.com/friend/i?i=LTM2MDQ3MTMxMjk6Mzcw - and it takes you to my profile page (of something like that :/)

I'm also linked through facebook. I used to use Virtual Bookshelf, a facebook app that did the same thing. When the app went defunct earlier this year, the company emailed us to tell us that we could import all our info from Virtual Bookshelf. Well...it didn't work, and I lost like 200 titles I had recorded on Virtual Bookshelf. Boo. I need to get cracking with my GoodReads account. Quick brain, remember every book I've ever read!

Abby W. I am glad that your import worked! I have done that with games on fb, clicked by mistake to cancel the account and then realising what I had done, re-newed it and all is still there Happy
