What'd ya dream last night?

OK, so I have weird dreams sometimes that stick with me all day. Last night, I dreamed Harry Potter had made a friend called Roland, who was black, and had been hanging out with him and his younger sister a lot. Somehow, in a lightly Brokeback way, he and Roland had this crazy-OMG-I want you so bad-kissing moment(WTF?), and the sister saw it. Then for days, or whatever, they were dying to be alone and figure that issue out, but both really scared the other was mad....Yeah. Then I woke up.

I know, I could fanfic it and be flamed to death...but instead I decided to share with YOU!!!

Does anybody else have weird dreams that feel real...and leave you asking questions all day?

Im afraid of water ,and I have a returning dream of me drowning and I always wake up and I cant breath. It sucks even more when I dream that my husband or my mother is strangling me under the water... So I would really love to have a dream like you had instead!Happy

Wow, Vi, when you have dreams often with a singular occurrence, it usually means something on a subconscious level. I'm searching meaning behind it right now.

Wow, Vi, when you have dreams often with a singular occurrence, it usually means something on a subconscious level. I'm searching meaning behind it right now. Here's what I've found :To dream that you are drowning, indicates that you are feeling overwhelmed by emotions or repressed issues that are coming back to haunt you. You may be proceeding too quickly in trying to discover your unconscious thoughts. You should proceed more cautiously and slowly. If you drown to death, then is refers to an emotional rebirth. If your survive the drowning, then a waking relationship or situation will ultimately survive the turmoil.

To see someone drowning in your dream, suggests that you are becoming too deeply involved in something that is beyond your control. Alternatively, it represents a sense of loss in your own identity. You are unable to differentiate who you are anymore.

To dream that you rescue someone from drowning, indicates that you have successfully acknowledged certain emotions and characteristics that is symbolized by the drowning victim.

I have vivid dreams too. Mostly they have the same theme. One is me trying to get in contact with someone, IT"S URGENT, A LIFE AND DEATH SITUATION, but everytime I put money in the pay phone it falls straight through. I run off frantically looking for another payphone but I can't dial the numbers right, I always miss one or change one around, and that cycle runs over and over. Another crazy recurring dream I have is about all my teeth falling out, it's horrible, but lately in some of them I am actually using nail clippers to break all of my teeth off right down to the gum line. I usually wake up from the nail clipper dreams with really sensitive teeth....I've never had drowning dreams, although as a kid I always dreamt that I was about 2yrs old, and sitting on a narrow cliff face playing with a matchbox car. Theres an old rusted peice of metal roof sheeting sitting on the ledge, half on and half off. I get curious about what's under neath and crawl out onto the sheeting. As it's not attached in anyway to the ledge as soon as I move onto it I fall. It's pitch black and I can't see anything around me or have no idea how far down it goes. I always wake up from that one before I hit the bottom....
Well that's what is happening inside my crazy head at night lol

I know this is an old thread...but I'm waking it up.

I dreamed once that I was a housekeeper or something in this giant mansion. Everyone was gone but me and it was very late. I was walking around the house in a pink house robe when I saw a man standing outside the window. I stared at him for a second, wondering if he was able to see inside. Then he moved out of my field of vision. Somehow I knew that he was coming in, so I grabbed the phone and ran to a bathroom and hid in the tub. I called 911 and was trying to tell the dispatcher what was going on. I could hear the man banging around the house. I had to hang up because I was afraid he would be able to hear her talking to me and know where I was.

Next think I know, he bangs open the bathroom door and starts talking crazy talk. Like, "I'm here, princess...I'm gonna kill you like you killed me." And I'm thinking he thinks I'm someone else. I was saying over and over, It wasn't ME, It wasn't ME! Then he pulls out a pistol and holds it up to my head. I could seriously FEEL the cold steel and SMELL the gunpowder. I was shaking and trying to convince him that he'd got the wrong person when he shot me. The bullet when through my head but it must of bounced off something because it didn't kill me. I could hear this ringing and the whole world went blurry. Even sounds and smells were blurry. The force of the blow pushed me into the bathtub (which was full of water now) and I was looking down into the water, watching pieces of skull and hair swirl around with my blood. I tried so hard to breath very slowly and be still and act dead because I knew I was still alive and could make it if he left.

He bent down and got right in my face and I could see every pore and every black head and bits of stuff in his teeth. Then he grinned and grabbed the back of my head and forced me into the water. I tried to struggle but it hurt. I could feel everything. The porcelain of the tub, the soapy edge I was gripping to try to stay up...it was awful.

Then I stopped struggling and took a deep breath of water and everything became bright. (I guess that was the light you see when you die) Then all that was left was this ringing noise in my head and I knew that I was dead.

Yeah, I woke up pretty freaked out about that one.
