I hate this econimy.

I keep hearing on the news "unemployment rates drop, jobs are being created daily" and I keep not getting called back, interviewing with 100+ people standing in line behind me.
It's very frustraiting. Especially when I see my friends also being laid off.

My hubs just got laid off... a muli-million dollar industry that has been brought to it's knees by the shitty econimy and the bad practices of big business men and greed.

He will get unemployment, and we have friends that have offered for us to move into their basement.... But it's upsetting. I hate it... I want to scream... cry... yell... but I cant...

because now I have to be strong for him.

I'm sorry you're going through such a difficult time. I was so frusterated when my boyfriend got laid off from his job because they were closing all their stores in another freaking state!

Luckily he was only out of work for a few months before he got placed at a new job- he hates it there but he is making more money and its a job. I on the other hand have been out of work for a year and am really just beat down about it. Its a tough situation. I hope things get better for you soon!

I know exactly what you mean Delilah, everywhere on the news we hear that more jobs are being created and that the government is fighting unemployment but nobody can see it. It's horrible because so many of us are losing jobs or struggling to find jobs, and I feel that this is happening more now than it used to, it's becoming almost impossible to find a job. Here, most companies are BY LAW, only allowed to employ black people, which means that I cannot get a job anywhere
