One of the best things about living in and around Plymouth is the number of beaches and the waterfront. It's absolutely beautiful on a nice clear day! For people who like the beach, there are several in Plymouth itself; but, the entire Massachusetts coast has great beaches. Plymouth Beach and Nelson Memorial Park are two popular public beaches. And if you have children, Nelson Memorial Park is especially good because it has a playground for the kids.

Raleigh is a city that certainly has something for everyone. About five years ago my husband and I visited the area and fell in love. For families, the parks here are amazing-- the city of Raleigh does an amazing job preserving historic buildings and sites for future generations, as well as incorporating new playgrounds for little ones. For museum buffs, you can enjoy the NC Science museum, History museum or take in the NC Museum of Art all for FREE. Fellow antique shoppers can always find something amazing at the Raleigh Flea Market on the weekends. Culinary connoisseurs will delight in the 1200+ local restaurants to choose from, but if you prefer to use local fare to cook up a gourmet meal on your own look no further then the State Farmers Market. Everything from produce to meat & seafood is available here year round. Raleigh has a vast array of bars, craft brewery's and pubs for those seeking the night life. Take a pedal powered trolley pub around the city and enjoy the sights as you sip a local craft brew. Whether you are all about family or just here to explore, Raleigh can accommodate for whatever it is your looking for.

Valencia is a very nice and comfortable city to live: big enough to have a wide cultural and services offer, but not too much to be oppressive and make you spend hours to get around. In addition, the weather allows to enjoy walking or riding almost the whole year.

The best thing about living in my city is the history. You can really feel that Stirling is an old city, there are historic buildings, statues and plaques at every turn. I also love being able to look out of my window every morning and see the Ochils, they are the perfect backdrop and give the city a real sense of grandeur.

The city has a lot of history, basically having been settled since the Oregon trail. There are so many beautiful old buildings and French-named streets, which remind me of my hometown of Saint Louis but with a little bit of a dirty rough'n'tumble attitude. Still miss some of the more colourful points of Saint Louis but since there is a low cost-of-living you can get some amazing things for incredibly cheap.
