I think I'm officially addicted to this site. Really, I am. It gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see so many talented, creative people out there. It also fills my brain with soooo many ideas! Unfortunately, many of them require supplies that I don't have right now... isn't that always the way it works? I have tons and tons of supplies, but none of them are right for what I want to do RIGHT NOW. =/

Ah well. I'm keeping a list, and as soon as I have a bit of extra money I can start at the top and work my way down.

I do, however, have latex at the moment. Black and hot pink! One of my favorite color combinations. I've only just recently (as in, about a month ago) started working with latex. I've loved wearing it for years, but this is the first time I've had the space and the free time to give designing my own clothes a shot. It's difficult. My first project did not go so well - I was able to salvage the skirt. I'm just waiting for some white strips to arrive from the UK so I can put the finishing touches on that. But, I know what I did wrong last time so hopefully I won't make the same mistakes twice. I have never worked with patterns before, so drawing them out and then cutting and using them is harder than I thought it would be. But from looking at different how-tos on the site, I think I've gotten a better understanding of things. So thanks, everyone! =P

I am having fun with the latex, at least. I just have so many ideas in my head that are waaaaaaaay too advanced for my actual abilities. And I'm not a patient person!

But today, I finished drawing out all my pattern pieces and I am going to go start cutting some out right how. Hopefully I'll have time to get a little of the actual cutting done tonight, too...
