I'm a hair stylist, I work part time as a Master Artistic Educator for MATRIX, a hair color company, and I split the rest of my time between multimedia design, taking care of my website (http://www.theartofmegan.com) and taking care of my husband, myself, and our little fur babies. Mmm, kitties.
I enjoy a wide range of crafts, with my emphasis being on jewelry making, clothing and accessory design, and anything I can figure out involving yarn. All sorts of yarn. Mmm, yarn. But hand me a kit of something artsy or give me a good project idea and I'll try anything!
I have a lot of big aspirations for myself in both the hair styling world as well as the art world, and I can honestly say I have a lot of faith in myself! And when the day is done, I can always say that I love what I do.

i wouldn't mind working in a salon if it were a good one. i've just been stuck in chain salons because i've moved and have very few repeat clients. the salon i'm at is so slow i can't even make commision at $7.00 an hour. so i never get a cut of what i do, it's horrible. : (
i figure if i had another source of income i could take the risk at a booth rent place. i just worry about making enough money to be profitable in a place like that.
but i didnt realize that i could just contact them online, thanks!
