No-Sew Cute little flower brooch from vintage-ish fabric

I had this Vintag-ish Fabric that I had no idea what to make out of. It was really cheap, but so cute & I felt like it was so special & I wanted to make something really special out of it.

So I made these two Brooches to wear on my shirt or on my bags :)

Instructions

  1. Step 1 1

Cut out a length of fabric, I didnt really measure, it can be as thick or thin as you want it to within reason :)

I'd say 2 -3 inches thick is just dandy

  2. Step 2 2

    Fold your fabric in half.

This is kind of odd - very optional:
I flat ironed it down to make it neat & have a crease.

  3. Step 3 3

roll a bit together to make the center & glue it to keep it together after a few rolls.

  4. Step 4 4

Take the fabric and twist it, but not too tight.
Gluing regularly as you go along to the sides.

Twist twist - glue. Twist twist - glue.

o-o i duno if that makes sense

  5. Step 5 5

After a while - it should look like this.

  6. Step 6 6

Keep going - and glue the remainder down on the back like so.

Glue any loose spots that you see

  7. Step 7 7

Optional: glue a little bit of ribbon to make an accent piece.

  8. Step 8 8

Glue a circle of scrap felt to support the flower & cover up the uglies :P

  9. Step 9 9

Glue your clip or pin piece to the the circle of felt using a smaller piece of felt.

    And you're all done :D!
