Food plastic tray necklace
It's just my first try!
I used some white food trays, washed, coloured with a black permanent marker and then baked.
NOTE: when heated this kind of plastic (polystyrene)shrinks to about 40-50% of the original size and it gets more rigid and a little bit THINNER. It depends on the original consistence.

Yes, the plastic is number 6 but of a particular kind. I took two pics just to show you the exact kind of plastic I used....but I don't know where to post them.
I'm sorry I can't tell much more about heating temperature since my oven is a very old one, anyway I guess it was about 200-250°C. You just need to have a look at your pieces whilst curling and take them out the oven as soon as they have flattened again. Remember to put a sheet of paper over your pieces in order to avoid them to stick to themselves when curling.

How hot have you baked it? i have done some experiments with that too, not everything was a big succes.
Some didn't shrinked at all! and some didn't change flatten back.
i read on instructable.com that they give their the note using the triangle number of 6. Did you have used that as well?
