Butterfly quilted tablet pouch
I had made a case for my kindle and was asked by a friend to make a pouch for her tablet PC, so after measuring the device several times I went away and made up this pattern inspired by things I have made previously. I raided my scrap bag and here are the results. I am really proud of my work and it hurt to give it away when I had finished :P
The pouch is padded with fleece from a cheap blanket I found and lined with cotton. The pocket on the front has faux buttons and actually closes using velcro. The pouch itself zips up the side, this was the first time I had installed a zip in a project and I found it a lot less scary than I thought it would be :)

A pouch like this is easy to make in any size and the joy of patchwork is that you can use any scrap bits lying around to make the cover :)
