Tech Knits
A retro calculator makes the ideal cover for a tablet or netbook. This classic style is knitted using the fair-isle and intarsia techniques in a soft cotton. The grid design is easy to knit and the numbers can be worked using the fair-isle technique or by Swiss darning. It is fastened securely with press studs and can be lined with fabric for extra padding.

Gauge: 20 sts and 26 rows to 4” (10cm) in St st using larger needles.

Finished measurement:
About 12” (30cm) long x 9” (23.5cm) wide.

Pattern note:
The cover is worked in one piece starting at the base of the flap. It is knitted in St st using the fair-isle method for the pattern stitches.
