I had a very bright yellow pair of patent heels that I knew I would never wear... so I took some material and Mod Podge'd it on. The heel was VERY tricky since it was such a strange shape. I used ribbon and another strip of fabric to cover the raw seams and voila! They are a lot more wearable now :)

Did you need to prep the shoes at all, or was it just a case of applying liberal amounts of glue?
