Leela Cosplay

Ok so manchester hosted its first ever comic con on the 30th and I was so happy because manchester is the closest comic con Ive ever been to. I mostly make jewellery and the ocaisonal plush toy but I like to do the occaisonal cosplay (I dont do many japanese manga or anime cosplays mostly movies and cartoons ) I decided since the new futurama episodes have just hit the UK and I love futurama to cosplay leela :D. I had alot of fun. I made the eye using cardboard and alot of paint and glue (the cardboard did rub the rim of my nose though, ouch ! ) I also hand painted a cardboard ray gun. The project is cheap but i did have to buy some boots so it wasnt completely free. Leela is possibly one of my fave cartoon characters of all time and it was an easy and fun cosplay. It was wig free thanks to some cheap nasty purple hair spray. I could see from the corners but had the worst forward vision you can imagine ! Id love to have some comments on what your fave cartoon characters are and what your best cosplay has been. and for all the futurama fans what you think of the newest series :D
