I Am A Christmas Tree

  • Completed Project: I Am A Christmas Tree Picture #1

christmas tree costume

Another totally insane project for a work contest which I was hell bent on winning.

Two pieces of cardboard shapped like trees which I sewed straps onto like suspenders.
I poked the LED lights through the cardboard which was super easy, but I found it hard to make them stay sometimes.

You can't really see my feet in this photo, but took the shoe boxes and cut holes into them and secures some shoes (flip flops would had been ideal) and wrapped them up like presents with gift tags and everything.

for an added touch I got my ipod and bought some tiny portable speakers and blasted some cheesy Xmas Christina Agulara tunes out.

The painting was horrendous because I used outdoor metal paint.. never ever again.. it was stinky and sticky to use.

But I didn't want to spend much money on this get up.

That year we didn't bother getting a xmas tree.. we just used this one :)
