I'd been dreaming about getting one of those big beautiful Sally Rand type fans. But then the cheapest one I could find was over 200 dollars. So I bought feathers, a fan stave, and rhinestones, and made it myself!

Note, the fan stave was made of very light wood, so I stained it, because I thought the stained wood looked prettier against the white feathers.
