Made from old branches

Here's how to make a beautiful easter tree like this one. It's really simple to do.

Instructions

  1. 1

Firstly find some stray branches the size you want for your tree.

  2. Step 2 2

    Now on to the leaves.
I found the pattern for the leaves here:
    http://easymakesmehappy.blogspot.co.uk/2010/05/crocheted-leaves-for-naked-branch.html
I would write them out, but the photos really helped me with the last bit.

  3. Step 3 3

Make as many leaves in as many colours as you want and hook them on to your branches.

  4. Step 4 4

Pop them in the vase and decorate your tree with either hand-made decorations or shop bought (we had LOADS left from last year, so i used them). I had bought some foam flower shapes (for my daughter to use) so i added some of these also.

  5. Step 5 5

I then threaded some easter sequins on to some cotton and hung these from the branches.

  6. Step 6 6

    Now, display!
