Not all of your bells have to ring :)
Well, where to begin. . .

It was 2 in the morning, and I couldn't sleep. I was thinking about some random things, when I remembered the poem "The Bells" by Edgar Allen Poe from English class, *shudder* (the person who read it had this awful, monotone voice)and I thought, "Hmm, don't I have some bells laying around...?" I got them out, and started to open one up to see what made it ring, and that's when inspiration first hit.

I started toying with the idea of making a shape out of bell parts, when I noticed that when bent, the bell's parts almost looked like flower petals. . .

  • How to make a model or sculpture. Bell Flowers - Step 1
    Step 1

First, gather up some bells, and pick the biggest one - or, whatever size of bell you'd like for your base.

Using your pliers, bend back all of the different sections of the bell.

    Step 2

Now, you can use your pliers to add any extra bends that you would like on the "petals".

Be sure that you can fit another bell inside!

    Step 3

Repeat this using however many bells you would like (that can fit) to add to your flower.

I ended up with something like this... =D

    Step 5

*This is the hardest part, only because there is a risk of burning yourself. Using your pliers significantly lowers this risk.*

Using your glue gun, pour glue into the base of the the biggest bell, and carefully place the second biggest bell inside. Continue doing this until all of the bells are glued on.

    Step 6

For the very middle of the flower, I like the place in a very small bell that hasn't been bent using my pliers.

Now you can add a wire, or anything else, to the bottom loop of the bell, and show it off!

    Have fun! ^-^

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! Happy

And,*shudder* yikes, that poem is just disturbing... I've got nothing against Poe though (rhyme =D), his writing is always great for reading at night. Happy
