Bachelorette Party Gift!!

Okay so I'm 20 years old (drinking age is 19 so we're good with that) and I've been invited to my 25 year old cousin's bachelorette party which is in about a week.

This is the first bachelorette party I've ever been to and I'm not sure what I should give her.

I'm not going to get any really naughty gifts like sex toys or lingerie because both my cousin and myself are shy and pretty conservative.

I want to give her a nice gift but I'm an unemployed student so I can't spend a ton of money.

So please help me with her gift! I'm turning to you lovely and brilliant ladies of CO+K to give me some ideas.

So what would you give to her? Also if you've had a bachelorette party what were some of your favorite gifts?

Maybe make a cooking apron with the text: 'I'm cooking, but don't think I will do EVERYTHING for you' Or another funny text.

I think the whole point of a "bachelorette party" is to do things that are a little bit naughty. If it was just a bridal shower I'd do something conservative but a bachelorette party is the chance to let loose and do something wild and fun.

I personally would be upset if I invited someone to my bachelorette party and they got me an apron or oven mitts.

Although most bachelorette parties don’t require gifts, usually they are casual get-togethers in which the bride invites friends that she has fun with to go out on the town. If it is however a sit-down party with invitations and you don’t want to do the naughty gifts that most people will get your cousin, then I’d suggest purchasing an adult board game like Apples to Apples or something like that that her and her husband can play with friends.

I am sure most brides would LOVE to receive a pair of nice sheets, and don't even know it. We got a really nice pair at our wedding and they are still one of my fav gifts, plus they get used really often since they are super comfy.
Personally I received so many lingerie sets and "naughty" gifts that were more for laughs than anything, I really would have appreciated a nice, soft, silk robe.

If you decide to get a naughty gift you could always give it to her in private if you feel more comfortable. On our wedding night my husbands siblings snuck into our hotel room before we got there and set up candles and rose petals. This was a classy elegant touch that meant a lot to me. They also included naughty goody bags and chocolate syrup!

a slinky silk bathrobe is a good idea too! I personally like the kimono styled ones that were used in the 40s.

Thanks guys! I live in a small city that doesn't have any sex shops so I couldn't get a really naughty gift in time even if I really wanted to.

It was suggested to me to put toghether a basket and include a bottle of wine, candles, bath stuff, a loofa, maybe even a CD. Would that be a nice gift? I could look for a bathrobe to add to it! Happy

I've got one coming up in a couple of weeks time and I've decided to make her a blue flower corsage out of ribbons and felt... but I'll also be getting things like naughty straws and the like so how about a gift basket with nice stuff and something naughty like dare cards for the actual night Happy

Not if you used fake rose petals, the dollar tree sells pouches for $1. If they are part of a romance basket I am sure fake petals would be fine.
If you want real rose petals you should consider a herbal bath blend, my SIL makes a blend of Organic Lavender Flower, Organic Red Rose Petal, Epsom salt, Organic Chamomile Flower available online for cheap.

p.s. I think the basket would be an awesome gift!
