Bad day

I need to rant. I'm havign a really bad day. First off my parents got into an accident in my dad's truck(he drives an eighteen wheeler for a living and my mom has been with him for a month or so). They're okay, just banged up. Some moron in a pick up truck pulled out in front of them.

Then my husband decides to start laundry before he goes to work and tells me "Oh yeah, btw, you have to change it from the washer to the dryer in fifteen minutes". I'm like "WTF Why did you start it then!?!?!?" We live in an apartment, the laundry room is downstairs. I hate climbing up and down the stairs! I'm a klutz so I'm likely to fall, especially if I'm carrying laundry up like I will have to do in an hour.

Then when I get down there to change the laundry into the driers an old man comes in and he stinks to high heaven. He's in the way the entire time. I tried reaching around him to grab my wallet of quarters and forgot it was open. Quarters spilled out everywhere. Some of them landed inside of the drier he was getting his clothes out of. HE SAW IT! But when he notices quarters in the machine he pocketed them! RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME! I had to wait for his smelly butt to get out of the way to pick up the rest of the quarters. By the time I got back upstairs I was just about in tears because of all the crud that's been happening today.

The house is also a disaster and the kids keep making it worse. I'm still sick with this sinus infection AND cramps from my period so I'm not in the mood to clean but the mess/clutter is depressing me and stressing me out. I called my husband and gave him a yelling at on his voicemail about the laundry. He could have at least asked me if I minded finishing it up if he had to leave for work before it was done. I would have told him that I am NOT in the mood for laundry and he wouldn't have started it if he knew. BUT NO, he's a jerk and did it anyways.

*Screams at the top of her lungs*

He expects me to cook tonight and the kitchen is filthy. I was going to do the dishes but now I'm going to be too drained by the time I get the laundry dragged up here(like I said, I'm sick). Both kids have off from school too so they're driving me up the wall. Doing dishes when they're home is like war. Anyone ever sets foot out in the kitchen those kids are at their heels begging for several different things they know they're not supposed to have. Even if you JUST gave them lunch they're in there the moment you are saying "I'm hungry!" even though they're not. You give in and give them something and they just toss it on the floor in my son's room without so much as one bite.

Yes I did wake up on the wrong side of the bed today.

And now my sister is giving me a panic attack. She keeps calling/updating her facebook saying my mom was "badly hurt". I called my mom and she insists it's not "BAD" just slightly sore. I know my sister over exaggerates things all the time but it's hard hearing what she says when I really don't know what's going on yet. The accident only happened an hour or two ago.

My son is 5 but he's got learning disorders so he has the mentality of a 2 or 3 year old. My daughter is 3 and spoiled so she won't help. lol Sometimes my son will take something to the trash if you give it to him but beyond that he can't do much in the way of cleaning.

My mom called and told me my dad is really shaken up about the crash earlier. No one was hurt but he keeps saying if the pick up truck had been over just a foot the driver might have died. In his words "right or wrong someone could have died" in response to everyone telling him the crash wasn't his fault. My poor dad, that trucking company really needs to send him home for a few days!

That sounds like a bad day! I highly suggest taking a break and calling someone, like your husband's parents and asking if they cant take the kids for a couple of hours so maybe you can clean up and take a nap or a bath or something.

LOL My husband's parents wouldn't even watch the kids for my birthday so we could go to dinner. Plus they are NEVER home. My husband should be home in an hour and I've managed to get the dishes done despite the bad day. Kids have calmed down a bit too.
