halloween!

Hey guys. i know it may seem a bit early bit i was wondering what you were planning on being for halloween. Or costumes youve done in the past. Im trying to come up with ideas. I like to make costumes or part of them instead of just buying them, so thats why i try to start early...

Last year I was a Paper Bag Princess with a simple sewn brown dress. It was awesome.

My past costumes have been The Snow Queen from Narnia, the Egyptian Goddess Isis, a Victorian lady, The headless horseman with a pumpkin head, The Black Dahlia, and most recently Catwomen Michele Phiffer/Tim Burton style.

These are the costumes I remember. The headless horseman and catwomen were the quickest.

Oh and last year I was a roller derby girl I sprayed my hair pink, put on a jersey and a fake nose ring TADA done Tongue

All those are great. @monika ive been trying to think of perhaps a character from something i read/watch/etc to be. Its always fun to emulate your fav character in costume

I'm thinking of going as Barbie since I'm going to be blonde for the first time in my life this Halloween. I think if I can find a vintage Barbie sheet and make a Barbie ball gown it will work great!

Hmmm... I've already got green hair, so people shout witch at me anyway. I guess going as a witch would be slightly un-original.

I'll think I might dye my hair blue and go as wonder woman.

@Pinkweeds I like the barbie idea! I always like costumes that aren't typical halloween stuff. It's always witch, vampire or werewolf.

I went as kissing kate from holes by louis sachar once (at the time I absolutely loved the book). The mad hatter was really easy to do as well.

@Jenny wow those people sound cruel...a witch could be original (like if you made a creative outfit) but I see what you mean. It's so much better when you have a great unique costume.
