How did you find CO+K and why did you join?

I don't exactly remember how I found it, I think it was a mention in a youtube video, but what I do remember was the first project I saw: the sweater boots! I have never seen such a creative project and I think that was what made me join. I'm very thankful to the web because, in some way, it was what impulsed me to get more involved in the crafting world. I've always liked to make things by myself but being able to share it with other people and also get inspiration from their projects makes it even more interesting.

What projects are you currently working on?

Right now I'm learning how to sew and to make pattens. I'm working on a new kind of skirt and a polka dot shirt. I really love being able to make my own clothes, in the shops I hardly ever find what I'm looking for (also maybe because I lose the patience too soon)

What does your craft space look like?

In the photos it might look tidy but it's just for the occasion, actually it's a real chaos! It's just a corner of my little bedroom, where I also have to do my homework and study, so everything ends up on the floor... Under the table I try to keep a bit of order: I have two sewing boxes, the hama beads, some drawres with threads, fimo, paints, beads... boxes with random stuff...

Which tool or craft supply do you use the most?

I think scissors, what could you do without them? Then, of course, needle and thread.

What do you craft along to?

Sometimes I put some music, but usually it's just the craft and me. I love that feeling of concentration in what you are doing. I tend to overthink the things and crafting leaves my mind blank and relaxes me.

Favorite Craft

I like to learn new techniques and make any kind of craft, I'm a really indecisive person and I can't stick to just one thing. At the moment I've tried painting, knitting, sewing, modeling, carving, cooking... even lace-making! so I think the crafts I love to make the most are the ones I haven't (yet!).

Cecilia's Top Crafts

If you could learn one new craft or make anything, what would it be?

Definetely jewelry making, but not the one I already make with wire and nail polishes (I'm not saying that I don't like it) but real one molding metal, carving it... something more professional, long-lasting.

Who are your crafting heroes?

Anyone can be my crafting hero (especially in this web). The most important isn't the person, but the project: it's creativity, the simplicity...
