We head to Peterborough in England to meet Charley H and see some of her Chic Cheats!
I heard about it when I read a section on The Guardian's website called Making Time.
A copy of some Topshop Unique velvet ankle boots and a copy of some skull-printed-and-embroidered biker boots I saw whilst on holiday in France (their fashion is SO amazing!)
Nothing exciting, I'm afraid. It's just organised in a messy kind of a way with a cool black table and a paint and glitter-soaked cutting mat that could tell 100 crafty stories!
Does Ebay count? I'd say that option by a mile, it's the cheapest, most convenient way of doing a project and you can find pretty much anything you want.
Mostly the rock and alternative music on my ipod, I'm always in the mood for a bit of Nightwish, A.F.I. and The Birthday Massacre. Sometimes I like a bit of mindless, trashy TV on in the background, but it can't be so compelling it distracts me or so irritating it just does my head in, so that one's more of a delicate balance!
Christmas might be over… But who needs stockings when you can have fabulous shoes!
Oh DIY fashion, mostly sewing but also painting, embellishing and other types of customising. Anything I want but can't afford I'll take on.
Fancy textured knitting (as in cable knitting, waffle knitting etc.)
Too many to mention, my pals Alessia from Matter of Style, Donatella from Inspiration and Realisation and Carly from Chic Steals. I also like Stars for Streetlights and P.S. I Made This (the visuals are amazing)... just anyone who inspires me, really.
