I write Trinkets in Bloom a DIY fashion blog, with tutorials inspired by runway fashion, street style and vintage finds. I like to think outside the box and really push the boundaries when I’m making a DIY project.

Even the name Trinkets in Bloom is about growing and changing. First Trinkets, because I like shiny, sparkly and precious objects. Bloom, because I take those objects and push them to the next level to make the ordinary bloom.

For me DIY is all about the challenge. There’s a rush I get from making a project myself. I love figuring out the construction on my own. No instructions, no rules, no guidelines. Fashion too, is all about personal style, expressing yourself and even taking some risks. What better way to express your personal style than by making or embellishing your clothing and accessories.
