This item was created by complete accident, which is why this isn't a "how to". I was trying to make a water bottle sling, thinking I would start with the bottom first. Ha! I don't know how to crochet very well, and before I knew it instead of a flat founded circle, I had a bowl shape. I decided that instead of wasting it, or starting over, that I would try to make a ball.

I was able to make a ball, which I stuffed with cotton balls. I cut several "strings" of yarn and knotted them on the end where the main "seam" is.

My spazoid kitten from the underworld LOVES yarn, to the point she tries to eat it! So, needless to say when I gave her the ball, I turned my back for less than a minute and she AND the ball were gone! She'd carted it into another room and was spazzing over it! LMOL!
