finally got time to make a "how to" on my HP wands...

    this is what you'll need

    apply lots of hot glue to the chopstick

    decorate with beads
    (or string, metal wire, stones, yarn... just make sure it doesn't melt whith the glue)

    but be careful it's HOT! don't burn your fingers....

    the glue is quite runny, so it will even out while drying....

    if not, roll it between your hands when it's cold enough to touch.

    now they are ready to be painted!

    i used acrylic paint, but im sure any hobby paint will do

Wow, these are so cute! I once used a dowel and sculpey years ago and created Hermione's Wand. Took some doing, I must say, the intricate leaves and vines were not too hard, but I had to get them just right. (I can be a perfectionist sometimes) Now I am going to use this method to create the Deathly Hallow-The Elder Wand! Cool, why didn't I think of this sooner?

Also, I could not find a single bead, so I used bits of gravel and little pebbels. Worked well.
