I created this Very Hungry Caterpillar crocheted hat for my Mother that is a teacher in elementary school. After she saw this one she gave me a list of more characters to make for reading time. It was a big hit. This pattern is designed after the Very Hungry Caterpillar book by Eric Carle. It is a book I remember fondly from my own childhood.
