Got an old shirt and some beads?
There have been a lot of "t-shirt scarves" popping up lately, really I think of them more as a necklace, so that's what I made.

Step 1I took a child's shirt (because I didn't Want it too long) and cut it into strips. These are some extras left over, I only used about 6 for this particular project.

Step 2I used wooden beads of varying sizes (the larger beads work better because they have a bigger hole) and strung them onto the strips with stopper knots just to add some extra texture and to make sure the beads don't all gather together at the bottom of the strands (some strands have Just knots and no beads. Sorry there's no picture of the stringing process.

Step 3Originally I Tied the strips together but felt it was too bulky so instead I sewed through each strand sewing them all together, then tied a strip from the sleeve around the seam.
