You Will Need

Step 1Take some string and braided it together. The basic friendship bracelet type design. Or take any base that you would like to have as a part of your headband and measure it out to your desired length.

Step 2Take 2 ribbon ends and clip them to the ends of the strings with some tacky glue to secure it. Use jewelry pliers to smash it shut.

Step 3
Take elastic string and measure out the amount needed to fit around from one ribbon crimp to the other and add extra inches to tie off the elastic at the end.

Step 4Tie or slip knot the elastic to the ribbon end and start stringing pearls or beads. As you go along use your head for measurement to determine how beads you will need to complete the headband.

Step 5Tie off the elastic to the other ribbon end securely and tight.

Step 6Cut off extra elastic.
