A simple cover that didn't require sewing!
I had gotten the inspiration to make a steering wheel cover from one of the how-to's on this site, but I didn't want to spend too much time on it.

    Step 1

Get yourself any kind of fabric but it has to be stretchy. I found myself a cheap mini skirt which also meant I didn't have to sew the ends together which shouldn't be that big a deal if you have to. I used the same dimensions as the other how-to on here.

Once you have your fabric cut out, grab something to wrap around it and the wheel and make sure you have at least 3 feet for room to work with. I used ribbon but you can use anything such as yarn.

Go out to your car and put the fabric over the wheel. try to take your time because the fabric will like to slide off. Once you have it on, tie an end of the ribbon roll around the wheel to keep it in place. Then wrap the ribbon carefully but tightly around the wheel and secure at the other end.

You could also do like I did and wrap another ribbon around the opposite way to make a cross- stitching look and add a bow to the side if you want and then you're done!
