Looks really good. I did Sailor Moon embroidery once, evil.
Have you tried free machine stitching with an embroidery hoop? its easier to do hair and stuff quickly.

Good job! I never expect to be superb at embroidering, but I find it alot of fun. I have a couple of aincent books on needle work that have some really clever ideas for embriodery samplers and a whole mess of stitches too confusing for me! So if you want to take your embroidery further I would suggest that you go hunting for old crafting/sewing books.
