You Will Need

Step 1Since i didn't have an embroidery pattern, what i did was print out a picture of hello kitty and i traced it over the fabric with charcoal paper. First place the charcoal paper under the fabric on a hard surface.

Step 2Next, trace the picture of hello kitty very dark.

Step 3Then embroider over the markings with black thread. I used two strings from the six. I also used the split stitch for the outline.

Step 4Fourth, you should then embroider the bow, nose, and clothing with colored thread, using the cross stitch. And your done.

PS, theres a program called PM Stitch Creator that turns regular pictures into embroidery patterns. it has plenty of options for sizes and color, and stitch type. its great,and free. Ive had the same "trial" for over a year. =]
