What you need...

Put the ends of the string between the 'doors' and close them. Close them very tight! (don't know how to describe better, my english is not so good...)

Put some beads on a piece of wire, can be anything you like... Bend the ends into loops and attach several short pieces onto eachother, so it becomes nice and dangly.
I uses small beads for the top, and larger to the bottom.
I bend a wire to a spiral for an 'end piece'. -
Put them all together with a little ring and attach it to your phone / bag/ ipod / coat
