You Will Need

Step 1Cut off the end of an old tie. Important: Cut off a larger piece than me, I had to lengthen mine later on.

Step 2Open the tie at one end and fold in the lining, pinning it

Step 3At next, sew the lining on the fabric

Step 4Then seam the outer fabric so it looks cleaner.

Step 5Pin everything together.

Step 6Handsew the layers on the lower fabric

Step 7In case there is one, remove the stitch that holds those sides together

Step 8Open.

Step 9Pin the sides together.

Step 10Handsew them, take care to not sew through every layer!

Step 11Looks like this now.

Step 12That was the moment I added another piece of tie because I realized mine was too short.

Step 13Fold the tie like this.

Step 14Pin & sew

Step 15Add snap buttons
