I am a History Teacher who likes to craft in her spare time and who often drinks her body weight in tea. I help to run a local craft fair with my friends and live with my partner who is a graphic designer and photographer.

Crafting for me started out as a hobby to pass the time whilst I was unemployed and searching for work. I was soon persuaded to start selling the items I made and found that I enjoyed the art of creating.

Now that I am back in full time work (at least temporarily as maternity cover) I have slightly less time for craft but enjoy it all the same! When not crafting I am usually gaming or reading a book in the bath.

I love to eat and enjoy cooking though I have yet to put any edible crafts up on this site! My favourite TV shows include antiques shows and cooking programmes, our TV is almost also on Food Network!

When I have the cash and time I enjoy travelling and have a series of pen friends from all over the world. Nothing quite beats the joy of receiving a hand written letter in the post from a good friend.
