super cute and delicious to eat.

i'm doing all my christmas baking and as i was mentally "filling" the tins with what i've made so far i realized i lacked something "peanutty".

..so i went on a hunt, and found this adorable idea.

Recipe

  1. Step 1 1

in a large bowl, mix the peanut butter, butter, and sugars until mixture is light and fluffy. beat in egg and vanilla. combine flour and baking soda and slowly add to the mixture. mix well. roll dough together, place on a sheet of saran wrap, refrigerate for 1 hour.

  2. Step 2 2

roll mixture into 1 inch balls. place them 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. pinch each ball at one end to taper.

  3. Step 3 3

insert two peanut halves in center of each ball for ears. add one M&M bit for nose and two chocolate chips for eyes.

  4. Step 4 4

bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes, or till bottom is a nice golden brown.(do not let it harden or you won't be able to add the tail). Gently insert one licorice piece into the back of each warm cookie for tail. Remove to wire racks to cool completely.
