A really simple treat for your favorite pooch!
I make these dog cookies for my dog Lola (seen above going crazy for them!) all the time and she loves them! They make good presents for all of the canines I know around the holidays. They are also great way to spoil your dog on their birthday (I know I do!). I don't have pictures of all of the steps, but if requested I'll make a how-to. They are pretty easy and quick though.

Basically you mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl, then roll out the dough until it is about 1/4 inch thick. If the dough is too sticky add more flour, if it's too crumbly add more water. Then cut into shapes. I make hearts, bones, cats, and circles, but you can cut whatever shapes you'd like.
Then bake at 350 degrees for about half an hour, or until browned. Let them cool before giving them to your pup!
If you keep them frozen or in a sealed container, they should be good for about two weeks.
You can even "frost" them with peanut butter, plain yogurt, low-fat cream cheese, or even wet dog food. I like to sprinkle carrots or kibble on top too. :)
Enjoy! And please post your versions!
