A great decoration

This was my first time making this, and I really enjoyed it. After some practice I plan on making really small ones and turning them into earrings.

I'm not good at explaining but I hope the pictures are clear enough to get it.

First you fold your paper from corner to corner, so it looks like this.

Flip it over and fold one side in to the center, making a point at the end.

Turn it around and do the same.

If the right side is folded over, fold the left one over on the other end.

Fold the other side you didn't fold to the center now.

Do the same on the other side, it should now look like a diamond.

Fold it in half along the middle crease.

Take one end and fold it down.

Flip it over and do the same on the other end.

Repeat this on the other 3 squares.

Open the squares to where you folded them along the middle, place 2 of them side by side like in the picture.

Place the other 2 in, with the top one going over the left and under the right, and the bottom one going under the left and over the right.

Fold the bottom one up like the picture shows.

Take the one on the left and fold that over to the right like the picture shows.

Take the top one and fold it down as the picture shows.

Take the one on the right and fold it under the first one you folded up.

Repeat the folds until you get to the end.

It should look like this, now flip it over and do the same to the other side.

Take the ends that are sticking out and twist them in the direction you folded them.

Grab both ends and pull it gently to stretch it out.
